# Result

While they might resemble each other in appearance, young koins born through the Ai system are temporarily referred to as koinies.

They are born ready to race right out of the box, albeit in their own category, at least for a while. As long as they are young, koinies cannot reproduce.

The aspects of their performance are a result of combining the abilities of their parents, through a formula that the koins prefer to keep secret (we insisted, but they weren’t having it).

Their rarity is defined by their mother, that is, the female koin who performed the ritual. This means that the differentiation of their colors is usually defined by their mother. That being said, the pattern of colors that are going to decorate your koinie depend entirely on its lineage, although there can always be surprises!

Speaking of lineage, keep an eye on the parents. Out of both of them, the least rare will be the one awarded to the koinie.

Psst! We’ll let you in on a little secret, though. There is always a slim, slim chance that your koinie will inherit the traits of the rarer one. Don’t give up!
